FUN RUN SWAG BAG DONATIONS

String backpacks will be given to all participants of our Annual District Fun Run. Those backpacks will contain Fun Run t-shirts and items donated by local businesses and organizations.

Donated items for the swag bags can include coupons or any promotional items that you’d like to give. This is a great way to advertise your business and to be seen by more than 2,000 students, teachers, staff members and their families.

The Fun Run is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Not only is it important for raising funds for a great cause, but also as a community building event. This year we have chosen to raise funds for the APA Teaching Excellence Fund, a private reserve that helps us to attain and retain great teachers. As a charter school we receive less money than local public schools do, and unlike the local public schools, we are not able to raise property taxes to bring in more money when it’s needed. Great teachers play an invaluable role in the education and lives of our children, and although we will never be able to pay them what they are truly worth, through the APA Teaching Excellence Fund we can at least get them closer.
